Job Summary: The Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves interacting with customers, handling transactions, and collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, answer questions about the menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure that guests' needs are met throughout their dining experience, including refilling drinks, addressing any concerns, and providing timely service.
Order Management:
• Input orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Monitor the status of orders and ensure timely delivery to the table.
• Handle special requests and modifications to orders as needed.
Service and Delivery:
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any issues promptly.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests.
Payment and Transactions:
• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Provide guests with their receipts and ensure that any billing issues are resolved promptly.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
• Communicate effectively with other servers and team members to manage table assignments and service flow.
Compliance and Cleanliness:
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including the dining area, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for handling and storing food and beverages.
Additional Duties:
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations for special events or functions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a server in a Restaurant/Bar required
Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
