1. Customer Service:
Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables.
Taking orders and providing menu recommendations.
Ensuring prompt and accurate service to meet customer expectations.
Responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns or special requests.
2. Table Setup and Maintenance:
Setting up tables with appropriate utensils, glassware, and tableware.
Arranging table settings according to the establishment's standards.
Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of dining areas.
3. Order Management:
Communicating customer orders to the kitchen staff.
Ensuring that orders are prepared and presented correctly.
Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
4. Up-selling and Promotion:
Suggesting additional items or specials to enhance the dining experience.
Promoting special events, promotions, or loyalty programs offered by the establishment.
5. Payment Handling:
Presenting and explaining the bill to customers.
Processing payments accurately, including handling cash and processing credit card transactions.
6. Team Collaboration:
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Communicating effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and provide support.
7. Knowledge of Menu and Products:
Having a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Being knowledgeable about dietary restrictions or allergies and able to provide information to customers.
