Job Summary:
The Steward is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting in the smooth operation of the restaurant. They ensure tables are clean and properly set, orders are delivered accurately, and guests enjoy a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guest Service:
• Greet guests and assist them in finding their seats.
• Provide menus, explain daily specials, and take orders when required.
• Address guest queries and ensure their needs are met promptly.
• Table Management:
• Set tables with proper cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
• Ensure tables are clean, sanitized, and ready for guests.
• Clear used plates and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
• Order Coordination:
• Relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure proper handling and presentation of dishes.
• Support Functions:
• Assist in stock replenishment of cutlery, napkins, and other supplies.
• Support other team members during peak hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas.
• Compliance & Standards:
• Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
• Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
