Job Summary:
As a Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. You will support the kitchen staff by maintaining proper hygiene, handling dishwashing duties, and assisting with basic kitchen tasks. Your role is vital in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, pantry, and dining areas.
• Assist kitchen staff in food preparation tasks as required.
• Ensure that all kitchen waste is properly disposed of.
• Stock and organize supplies, such as cleaning agents and kitchen tools.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the chef or management.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A team player with good communication skills.
