:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and equipment.
- Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste and recyclables.
- Assist in the preparation of meals and setup of dining areas as needed.
- Monitor and restock inventory of kitchen supplies, including detergents and cleaning tools.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen and dining staff to ensure efficient service.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and food safety standards.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [weight] pounds.
