Job Description
A steward's job description can vary depending on the type of steward, such as a restaurant steward, event steward, or hotel steward:
• Restaurant steward Welcomes guests, takes orders, and assists kitchen and server staff. They also set tables, stock them with supplies, and ensure the dining area is clean and hygienic.
• Hotel steward Provides care for guests, such as greeting them, answering phones, and providing information about reservations. They may also set up tables, serve water, and refill drinks.
