Job Title
STET - Mechanical Design Engineer - Packaging
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Equivalent Degree/ Packaging specialization
• 6-8 years of experience in Design of Packaging for Medical Devices / Home Appliances / Personal Health
• Experience with Creo, Solidworks & Windchill
• DfSS Greenbelt Certified nice to have.
• Basic understanding of packaging design, labelling design
• Understanding of material interaction between product & packaging
• Basic knowledge of paper types and their qualities
• Experience in LCM/ Sustenance/ Change Management for packaging, supplier transfer projects
• Basic sketching skills
• Windchill PLM software
• Proven design engineering and project management experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience supporting global projects
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and working in a regulated industry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, and Word required
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills required
Note: This position is based out of Pune and expectation is to be working from office.
