: Statistical Intern (Python and SPSS)

Overview: We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Statistical Intern proficient in both Python and SPSS to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply statistical methods and data analysis techniques using Python programming and SPSS software. You will collaborate closely with our data analytics team to contribute to meaningful projects and gain valuable hands-on experience in statistical modeling and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Python and SPSS to collect, clean, and organize large datasets for analysis.
• Perform statistical analysis including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and clustering.
• Develop and implement statistical models using both Python and SPSS as required by project needs.
• Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to interpret results and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Document methodologies, data sources, and assumptions for transparency and reproducibility.
• Support ongoing projects by providing analytical support and contributing innovative ideas.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn).
• Experience using SPSS for statistical analysis and modeling.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques (e.g., ANOVA, correlation analysis).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous coursework or internship experience in statistical analysis is preferred.
