Position Overview
At Big Poppa's Bistro, we embrace a collaborative kitchen environment where all station cooks are considered equals. This role is ideal for someone passionate about learning and growing in a supportive setting. You'll work alongside experienced station cooks to develop your skills and eventually take on or assist with a specific station. For those who demonstrate aptitude, we also offer training in smoking meats on an offset smoker, a key component of our culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Learning and Development : Train under our experienced cooks, gaining expertise in various kitchen stations.
• Food Preparation and Presentation : Prepare dishes precisely, adhering to our established standards for flavour and presentation.
• Recipe Execution : Follow recipes, plating guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Hygiene and Safety : Maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety standards, ensuring compliance with HACCP and FSMS protocols.
• Equipment Usage : Properly handle and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Teamwork and Collaboration : Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?17,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
