As an Officer with State Street Global Advisors Global Institutional Group, you will take an active role in managing RFP process, with responsibility to ensure the team creates accurate, high-quality, and compelling requests for proposal, requests for information and due diligence questionnaires for prospective institutional clients and consultants.

You will be part of a global team responsible for:

- Ensure the team creates accurate, high-quality, and compelling requests for proposal, requests for information and due diligence questionnaires for prospective institutional clients and consultants

- Review the documents created by Senior RFP Specialists to check for quality on correctness of

the information and data

- Work with client facing and Product teams to analyze the changes required to the process

- Ensure the firm brand, product messaging, and tone are consistent throughout the documents created by the RFP writers

- Mitigate risk involved in the RFP process by working with subject matter experts to ensure that language and data meet regulatory requirements

- Continually looking for ways to improve and simplify the RFP teams processes through automation

- Maintaining and logging information for RFP reporting metrics

- Pitch in, when required, to prepare complex RFPs and DDQs

- Along with the above, you may be managing 4-5 members Proposals Management team in Bangalore office.

- This role is part of the Global Proposals Management Team and in that role you may also matrix report to Global Head of the process.

Education and experience requirements:

- Graduate or above, preferably an MBA graduate with specialization in finance

- Very good communication skills written and spoken

- 7-8 years of work experience in Asset management

- Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in Proposals/RFP domain

- Very good understanding of financial industry and various asset classes like Equity, Fixed Income etc.

- Exposure to Mutual Funds and ETFs is expected

- Pursuing CFA Level 3 or completed Level 2 would be an added factor

This position requires:

- Understanding of the asset management business, basic financial concepts, and regulations as well as knowledge of various asset classes, different investment products, and market segments

- Comprehensive understanding of the products you support

- Strong managerial skills, project management, analytical thinking, problem solving, research, time management, and verbal and written communication skills

- Capacity for differentiated thinking and ability to challenge the status quo in order to drive optimal outcomes

- Excellent editing and proofreading skills

- Strong quantitative skills and ability to understand and communicate investment data

- Acute attention to detail

- An ability to form and cultivate positive relationships with internal and external partners across all levels of the organization

- An ability to take ownership, initiative and successfully navigate within a demanding and international environment of a leading global financial institution

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically MS Word and Excel
