About Organisation: LEPRA Society is an organization working for people affected by Leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, TB, HIV/AIDS & other NTDs, Eye Care and governed by a board comprising of distinguished individuals from across India.
About the Project: With the support of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GFATM) and guidance from the Central TB Division, will be implementing; (a) Integrated Pediatric TB care services in both the public and private health sectors to increase pediatric TB case detection and improve treatment outcomes, and (b) Active Case Finding (ACF) for early detection of missing TB cases among key and vulnerable populations, using innovative AI-enabled portable X-ray devices. The project will be carried out through Sub-Recipient (SR) partners in the states of Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh.



LEPRA Society seek State Programme Specialist for ACF based at State headquarter of the implementation geographies to lead implementation of project "Decentralizing Pediatric TB Care Services in Public & Private Health Sector and enhance case detection through ACF with Handheld X-Ray across selected geographies" in Raipur District - Chattisgarh State.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead the overall ACF strategy using handheld portable X-ray device and provide technical support to State and district NTEP units in planning and implementation of the activities as per the Project Guidelines
• Collaborating with various stakeholders at the State & districts level for micro planning and training sessions for health staff on the ACF campaign.
• Supervise and manage the district level field team responsible for case-finding activities by providing necessary guidance & support for seamless implementation.
• Assist or conduct health promotion activities focused on systematic TB screening using handheld/portable X-Ray.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and reviews to ensure project alignment with established plans/targets.
• Lead and review data analysis mapping the Key Vulnerable Populations and identify program deliverable gaps and issues, taking responsibility for translating these findings into evidence-based program implementation and strategy
• Ensuring the uninterrupted supply of consumables diagnostics and drugs under the project
• Support the State TB cell in Project Implementation Plan (PIP) budgeting and provide technical leadership in articulating issues and proposing solutions
• Lead and implement the Community Engagement activities for conducting ACF at State & Districts level.
• Ensure data quality and reporting as per the M&E framework
• Act as the program representative in government forums, partner meetings, and professional medical association gatherings, sharing program updates.
• Facilitate the MoUs with the identified Private Labs for CXR Services wherever is required
• Facilitate the team to Identify a Radiologist at the Districts for the interpretation support of the X-Rays and reporting.
• Perform the supportive supervision and monitoring visits ensuring the quality of the programme implementation considering the set targets to achieve
• Assist State Director for developing project reports and process documents submitting periodically to the relevant stakeholders within agreed timelines.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and reviews to ensure the project adheres to the established plans and addressing the technical & field level challenges
• Undertake any other activities and responsibilities as reasonably required by the project and organization


Qualifications and Skills:


Postgraduate in MSW or social sciences and priority will be given for the MPH as an additional qualification.


• 7+ years of professional experience including at least 2 years of managing state level health programs, and experience with government engagement.
• Understanding of the TB program and private health sector functioning are preferable
• Ability to liaison & engage with stakeholders from multiple sectors of government, private health care providers, civil society and communities at state levels
• Excellent computer skills, including use of Internet, MS Office(TM) software, and data analytics
• Familiarity with experience of monitoring and supervision visits and using M&E data in program management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and working knowledge of regional language
• Willingness to be based in state headquarter, and travel extensively to project implementation geographies
• Ability to prioritise and work independently as a team player in a complex, multicultural environment

Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- (CTC) per month
