SUMMARYThe State Program Lead will oversee and lead the technical assistance and support to state health departments in the deployment and integration of AI-driven solutions to enhance public health initiatives. This position will focus on strengthening existing health programs while ensuring the seamless adoption of advanced AI tools for improved health outcomes. The State Program Lead will manage a dynamic team of program officers and AI deployment specialists to deliver technical assistance, ensure best practices are followed, and drive program success at the state level.Location - MizoramABOUT US -Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. Program Leadership and Oversight:Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of AI-driven health solutions across state health departments.Coordinate and ensure the successful deployment of AI technologies to address critical health program needs, including disease prevention, health surveillance, resource allocation, and population health management.Collaborate with state health department leadership to understand needs and provide strategic guidance on program implementation and health system strengthening.Provide leadership, technical direction, and mentorship to a cross-functional team of program officers and AI specialists.2. Technical Assistance and Capacity Building:Offer ongoing technical assistance to state health departments to effectively deploy AI tools, focusing on systems integration, data management, and workflow optimization.Design and conduct training programs for health department staff on AI technologies, data-driven decision-making, and utilization of digital health tools.Facilitate workshops, webinars, and other knowledge-sharing activities to promote AI literacy and strengthen the capacity of health professionals.3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with state health department officials, technology vendors, academic partners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful program implementation.Serve as a primary point of contact for all state-level program activities, providing guidance and support as needed.Work closely with policy experts and stakeholders to advocate for AI solutions as part of state health initiatives and program strategies.4. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:Monitor program progress, ensuring milestones are met and timelines are adhered to.Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of AI solutions in achieving health program objectives.Prepare and present regular progress reports, performance metrics, and impact assessments to leadership and stakeholders.5. AI Strategy and Program Improvement:Lead the strategic development and refinement of AI solutions tailored to specific health program needs, ensuring alignment with state health priorities.Analyze data and feedback from AI deployments to identify areas for improvement and optimize health program outcomes.Ensure that AI solutions are used in an ethical, transparent, and responsible manner, in compliance with relevant regulations and privacy standards.6.
