Job Summary:
As the State Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and managing the financial inclusion business operations in Odisha. You will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing strategies to expand our reach, increase financial literacy, and drive inclusive economic growth in the region. This position requires a visionary leader with a strong understanding of the financial services landscape, exceptional management skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of the underserved.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive financial inclusion in Odisha, aligning with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative solutions to enhance financial services delivery.
2. Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the achievement of business goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
3. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of financial inclusion initiatives, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality service delivery.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, taking proactive measures to address any deviations.
4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and support for financial inclusion initiatives.
5. Market Expansion:
- Identify and assess market trends, competition, and customer needs to develop strategies for expanding the company's footprint in Odisha.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention through targeted marketing and outreach programs.
6. Financial Literacy and Education:
- Develop and implement financial literacy programs to empower communities with the knowledge and skills needed for effective financial management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in financial services, with a focus on financial inclusion and microfinance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment and financial inclusion landscape in Odisha.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
