Summary The Staff Workday Integration specialist plays a pivotal role in the GE HealthCare Workforce Digital Experience (WDx) team, responsible for overseeing/coordinating the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of all the inbound/outbound integrations between Workday and various systems across the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of Workday\'s integration capabilities, along with solid understanding of different integration platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including the HR function, up and downstream systems, internal IT teams and our AMS (Application Management Services) provider to make sure the integrations are running successfully on a daily basis. Your technical expertise, combined with strong project management skills, will enable you to navigate complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives. Roles and Responsibilities: Integration Design and Development Work closely with HR, Vendor Partners and IT to analyze business requirements and design integration solutions to ensure smooth data exchange between Workday and other systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, timekeeping, recruitment). Collaborate with vendor partners and internal IT to develop and configure integrations using various integration tools, including Workday\'s. Technical Expertise Stay up to date with Workday\'s integration features, tools, and industry best practices. Utilize integration platforms and programming languages & scripting languages to enhance integration processes. Data Mapping and Transformation Work closely with our AMS partner to create and maintain data mapping documents to define how data is transformed and mapped between different systems. Engage with our AMS partner to implement data transformation logic to ensure data consistency and accuracy during integration processes. Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with HR, IT, vendor partners and other cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and priorities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on integration projects and address any issues or concerns. Quality Assurance and Testing Conduct thorough testing of integration processes to ensure data accuracy, system stability, and error handling. Co-ordinate debugging and troubleshooting of integration issues, implementing solutions in a timely manner. Documentation Work with the AMS vendor to help create comprehensive documentation for integration processes, data flows, and transformation logic. Maintain up-to-date documentation for reference and knowledge sharing. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to streamline integration workflows. Propose and implement enhancements to existing integrations based on evolving business needs. Operations Work closely with the AMS partner to provide L2/L3 support for Integration issues. Regularly review operational metrics such as uptime, resource utilization, integration monitoring, performance, technical ticket SLAs, problem ticket resolution, etc. Basic Qualification Bachelor\'s degree from accredited university or college in business, computer science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Minimum 6 years technical experience in Workday with any of the modules like Payroll, HCM, Benefits, etc.. Desired Characteristics Strong experience with Integration platforms including Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio and EIB . Strong knowledge around web services and API technologies (REST, SOAP) and integration middleware. Solid understanding of HR processes, data, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams. Prior experience with other HRIS systems and integration platforms is a plus. Workday certifications in integration-related modules are advantageous.
