Responsible for creating plans for verification testing, test procedures and process development for testing components on a surgical robotics platform in accordance with internal development procedures. The position requires mentoring other members of the team and interaction with cross-functional organization to define and implement testing methods for the components during development phase as well as tests to support service and manufacturing of the robotic platform. He/she measures success against the best internal and external benchmarks What you will do: Take ownership for the testing effort on different types of applications Reviewing and commenting on product specifications & generate test cases/scenarios. Participate in Test Planning, system test strategy, methodology, and creation of system integration test cases and make them traceable back to the system requirements, feature lists and design documents. Collaborate with developers and QA leads to improve testability, automation, and tools. Interpret customer needs and understands design inputs. Create or maintain engineering documentation, such as design requirements or system specifications. Develop software level verification strategies and may lead software test development of components and sub-systems. Acts as the test development lead for a project, providing verification strategies and product content guidance. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Advanced Operations and Project Management to ensure project success. What you need: Well versed with Testing/QA concepts with excellent knowledge of Manual Testing is must. Strong experience in Test Planning & Estimation. Able to take technical leadership & ownership of different test deliverables for the team. Strong analytical skills to be able to translate from system requirements and use cases to detailed test cases. Good experience in Performance & Product security testing. Strong analytical skills to participate in troubleshooting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution Experience in automation testing tools for embedded/middleware software Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Should be well versed with Agile Methodology. Knowledge of Video Signals & standards Familiarity with Medical standards & FDA requirements Experience with verifying and validating software products in an FDA environment or other regulated industry Knowledge of any Programming language Exposure to programming skills in MATLAB, C/C++, Python Knowledge of Databases and constructing SQL commands Excellent documentation and Written/Verbal communication Generate and review the necessary documents with project teams (requirements/design/architecture/bugs/test) Regulatory and compliance standards applied to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) such as IEC62304 Understand fundamental industry standards, design requirements and test strategies which align with regulatory requirements Ability to use of oscilloscopes, multimeters and other measurement and analysis tools.
