The candidate will provide technical & architectural leadership to the Agile software engineering teams in building quality solutions within the committed budget and timelines.Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Lead architectural and solution design for the Engineering Platform and Stream Teams, taking accountability of translating business/engineering objectives to technical solutions.\xc2\xb7 Develop, formulate, and direct engineering processes and procedures.\xc2\xb7 Work with the Engineering and Product Leadership teams to coordinate the development of key engineering deliverables.\xc2\xb7 Ensure accuracy and consistency of engineering documentation.\xc2\xb7 Promote and maintain the highest possible environment of teamwork and collaboration.\xc2\xb7 Provide technical guidance on engineering issues, and keep appropriate staff informed of issues or concerns.\xc2\xb7 Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of relevant software technology, architectural patterns, software development and testing processes.\xc2\xb7 May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.\xc2\xb7 Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division\xe2\x80\x99s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.\xc2\xb7 May perform the functions and responsibilities of a software engineer, especially in areas related to prototyping and developing Proof of Concept (POC) solutions.\xc2\xb7 Lead team to evaluate, review, and design new or enhanced products.\xc2\xb7 Support all functions of the engineering process including risk assessment, testing, and release of product.The qualified candidate will have:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.\xc2\xb7 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience or at least 10+ years of hands-on experience with master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or related field.\xc2\xb7 3+ years of architecting and developing distributed applications on Cloud (preferably Azure), including tackling scalability, security, and performance issues on large production instances.\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture patterns and principles.\xc2\xb7 Experience with Cloud Infrastructure management (including cost optimizations) and monitoring including strong understanding of DevOps platform automation and tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, deployment pipelines, logging, and monitoring clusters).\xc2\xb7 Strong cross-functional leadership skills and working together with the Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering teams.\xc2\xb7 Experience in handling automated deployment CI/CD tools.\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and presentational skillsThe ideal candidate will have:\xc2\xb7 Strong experience with event-driven architectures and microservices on Cloud (preferably Azure).\xc2\xb7 Candidates with Cloud certifications (esp., Azure AZ305 or AZ400) would be preferred.\xc2\xb7 Experience on IOT-based Cloud Solution Architecture would be preferred.\xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience in programming languages and frameworks like C#/.NET core and/or Java/Springboot.\xc2\xb7 Experience with tools like DataDog, SonarCloud/jFrog, ArmorCode.\xc2\xb7 Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Continuous Configuration Automation (CCA) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef.\xc2\xb7 RESTful/GraphQL API Design\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of scripting languages like Powershell, or Perl.\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of front-end technologies like React, Angular etc.\xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience with developing in Azure Cloud Platform and technologies such aso AKS, Azure VMs, Storage Accounts (Blob storage)o Azure Databases (SQLServer, Postgres), Azure Key Vaulto Azure IOT Hub, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Durable Functions\xc2\xb7 Experience with Git for software configuration management\xc2\xb7 Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
