• Design, build and maintain multiple complex software application technologies and their interaction with Telstra processes and systems
• Develop innovative software that maintains data/ network security management, and leverage set processes to reduce the time between commission and production
• Authentically engage with and influence a multi-stakeholder landscape to translate customer needs into leading-edge software application products, services or systems that meet Telstras time, cost and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders, seeking support, direction and buy-in to gather deep insights about the challenges and opportunities of our software application technologies and platforms
• Significantly contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of our systems and processes, to help define xe2x80x98best practice corporate testing standards and drive improved outcomes (e.g. productivity, customer experience and/or profitability)
• Lead initiatives or components of initiatives in line with the strategic direction of your team/mission, that have a significant degree of impact to the function or cross-functionally
• Take ownership of your own actions and decisions to drive positive outcomes within your team/mission, and provide guidance to more junior engineers in order to support their development and contribution to team/mission outcomes

Essential Skills:Handson coding experience - Java version 11 + with good knowledge of J2SE and J2EE architecture.Microservcies Architecture and Design patternsSpring Core and SpringBoot FrameworkKnowledge of Front end is advantage -JavaScript, React Js stack (Context, Redux, react-query, react-hooks, apollo) and angular 12+HTML 5, CSS, understanding of accessibility requirementsHands on Experience with designing and performance tuning frontend applicationsHands-on with both SQL and NoSQL DBApplication Monitoring tools such as New Relic, SplunkCloud Platform experience-Azure PreferredCICD tools such as GitLab and BambooPivotal Cloud Foundry experience will be highly regarded but not a must.Highly desirable:Hands-on NodeJs development,AWS or Azure platform experienceWere amongst the top 2% of companies globally in the CDP Global Climate Change Index 2023, being awarded an xe2x80x98A rating.
