This is a high ownership, impact, and visibility role building a product that will directly impact Rippling\'s growth.You will:Engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutionsConfidently ship large features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projectsSolve technical problems of the highest scope and complexity of your teamTranslate high-level business requirements into a software design; communicate the designs to the other developers in the team.Review and share feedback on code, features, technology, architecture, and designs. Drive the standards around code quality and testing across your product.Drive the technical roadmap and architecture for the team.Provide mentorship junior engineers on your team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomyAct as the technical lead for your pod/team and drive large initiatives.Have exposure to business and technical leadership to strategize what can improve our revenue and our ability to scale rapidlyQualifications:Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or equivalentMinimum 10+ years of programming experienceAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of the dutiesIdeally experience in scaling products from 0-1,1-10 and 10-100Preferred experience in our technology stack- Python, Django, React, MongoDB, AWS and GoLangAbility to thrive in an ambiguous environment by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing themInfectious passion for solving real customer pain pointsExperience in building scalable distributed systemsExperience in building critical platform pieces that help the product scale quickly.Bonus: Experience in marketplace platforms.
