:POSITION OVERVIEWThe Product R&D group at NI R&D is seeking an experienced, deeply knowledgeable, energetic, highly accountable & a fully hands-on Engineer to contribute towards the research & development of various features/product at NI.The ideal candidate is deeply technical with experience and knowledge developing & deploying world-class software products for global customers in multi-cultural & dynamic teams. The person is dynamic & comfortable adapting to changing needs and adept at deriving clarity from minimum requirements. The position is highly visible & requires regular interaction with NI global R&D sites.The role demands diverse engineering & leadership capabilities, including the ability to communicate & collaborate effectively within & other global teams to gather requirements, generate precise specifications, brainstorm solutions & create new or sustain existing NI products as per the business needs.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Brainstorm, design, and develop new features in products. Develop tools and infrastructure to improve engineering productivity
• Independently lead the feature(s) through release. Design and implement moderate to high complexity features to a high level of quality
• Facilitate decisions necessary to deliver a quality product in a timely fashion
• Define and prioritize tasks for the team and leverage resources to complete tasks on time
• Review code and design of junior engineers and provide high-quality feedback
• Involve in testing activities and write unit tests for the features

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics and Communications / Telecommunication / Electrical / Instrumentation with excellent academic qualifications
• 2 - 5 years of industry experience with a demonstrated ability in problem-solving, effectively diagnosing technical issues, and proposing solutions
• Proficiency in Text-Based Programming languages, preferably C++/C# and development experience
• Strong understanding and experience of software architecture & design principles
• Demonstrated ability to lead &/or collaborate with multiple project teams & sites through release cycle(s)
• Track record of being a technical expert with extraordinary implementation skills
• Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools & processes
• Experience working in an Agile SW development environment
