### : Staff Nurse

Position Title: Staff Nurse (ER/Wards/ICU)

Location: PRK Super Specialty Hospitals, Chandanagar, Hyderabad

Reports To: Department Head (ER/Wards/ICU)

#### Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Staff Nurses to join our dynamic healthcare team at PRK Super Specialty Hospitals. The successful candidates will be placed in different departments including the Emergency Room (ER), Wards, and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Each nurse will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing their extensive clinical knowledge and expertise.

#### Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Care:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in assigned departments (ER/Wards/ICU).

- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories.

- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.

- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring timely and accurate medical interventions.

- Clinical Duties:

- ER: Triage patients based on severity of condition, stabilize critical patients, and prepare them for further treatment or transfer.

- Wards: Conduct routine patient assessments, manage daily care plans, and provide postoperative care.

- ICU: Monitor critically ill patients, manage life-support equipment, and perform advanced nursing procedures.

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.

- Emergency Response:

- Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing immediate and effective nursing care.

- Participate in resuscitation and stabilization efforts as part of the critical care team.

- Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

#### Qualifications:

- Educational Requirements:

- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing).

- Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the concerned department (ER/Wards/ICU).

- Licensure and Certification:

- Valid nursing license registered with the Nursing Council.

- Relevant certification in the respective department (e.g., ACLS for ICU, PALS for ER).

- Skills and Competencies:

- Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in nursing procedures specific to the assigned department.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

- Compassionate, patient-centric approach with a dedication to providing high-quality care.

#### Work Conditions:

- Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Exposure to infectious diseases and stressful situations requiring emotional resilience.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
