Staff Nurse
Job Description
• Provide direct care to patients who are ill, injured, disabled, or convalescent. This includes performing physical exams, administering treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
• Maintain accurate patient health records, including recording medical history and symptoms.
• Develop and implement care plans for patients.
• Educate patients and the public about health conditions and disease prevention.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Prepare, operate, and decontaminate medical equipment.
• Supervise the work of licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other nursing staff.
• Carry out the procedures for patient admission and discharge.
• Maintain the patient's personal hygiene and comfort.
