Job Description

• Patient careA staff nurse provides general care for patients, including admission and discharge, bathing, and assisting with pressure points. They may also help patients with their clothing and valuables, and make their beds.
• Treatment and examinationsA staff nurse prepares equipment and assists physicians during examinations and treatments. They may also administer prescribed medications, apply sterile dressings, and perform phlebotomy.
• Patient assessmentA staff nurse evaluates patients to determine their priority and suitability for treatment. They may also monitor vital signs.
• Patient recordsA staff nurse maintains patient records and ensures their confidentiality.
• SupervisionA staff nurse may supervise junior nurses and nursing students. They may also review the clinical performance of nursing students and new nurses.
• Self-management plans A staff nurse may administer self-management plans to help patients, family members, and caregivers participate in their own health management.

Pay: ?8,086.00 - ?25,501.85 per month
