Report to authorized management-Nursing superintendent Roles and Responsibilities To plan for and carry out all procedures of patient care including administration of medication according to standing instructions, assisting Doctors in various medical and surgical diagnostic procedures, performing diagnostic procedures, collecting and sending of specimens to lab, prepares patient for operations. Makes a complete assessment of all assigned patients on admission / at the beginning of the shift so as to plan the activities in order of priority while applying principles of safe patient care. To provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients\' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with doctors. Take over of all patients as per the guidelines and protocol. Carry out routine check at each handover that all equipments are in working order. Brief and guide patients about the procedure. Maintain nursing records including nursing notes, consents, nursing assessment, and data for all assign patients as per protocol.
