Job Description

Require BSc Nursing or Diploma GNM candidates with minimum 2 or 3 years experience in a Cardiology or a Multi specialty hospital in ICUs or Cathlab or Operation Theatres.

Clinical Expertise and Knowledge

Key Skills:

Proficient in monitoring and assessing patient vitals, managing advanced medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, defibrillators), and understanding complex medical conditions.

Specialized Knowledge:

Understanding of cardiovascular procedures in the Cathlab, surgical procedures in the OT, and emergency protocols in the ICU.

Certifications/Training:

Specialized certifications like ACLS, BLS, or certifications specific to critical care, catheterization, or surgery.

2. Critical Thinking and Decision-Making

Problem-Solving Ability:

Ability to assess patient conditions rapidly and make critical decisions under pressure, especially in emergencies.

Prioritization:

Knowing how to prioritize patient care, manage multiple patients in acute conditions, and make quick decisions when conditions change.

3. Patient Care and Compassion

Empathy:

Ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families during stressful situations.

Patient Advocacy:

Ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and respect, and effectively communicating with patients and their families about treatment plans.

Interdisciplinary Cooperation:

Working closely with doctors, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills to relay critical information during shifts or handovers.

Maintaining professionalism and composure in high-stress environments like the ICU, Cathlab, or OT.

Continuing Education:

Commitment to staying current with medical advancements, procedures, and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Ability to adapt to ever-changing shifts, patient conditions, and new technologies or procedures.
