Job Description

The Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves triaging patients, assessing their medical needs, and implementing appropriate interventions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments of patients upon arrival.
• Triage patients based on acuity and urgency of medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status; document changes and respond accordingly.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case discussions.
• Prepare for and respond to medical emergencies, including code blue situations.
• Assist in the performance of procedures such as intubation, suturing, and wound care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure proper reporting of adverse events and near misses.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.
• Stay updated on best practices and evidence-based guidelines in emergency nursing.

Pay: ?17,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
