Job Description

Our Eye Centre is looking for a B.sc/ GNM Nurse to join our team . The candidate should be a trained nurse who has some experience in the Operation Theatre and Day care. The candidate should have a Delhi Nursing Council Registration .He/ She will be expected to handle patients in the regular OPD, Day Care and in the Operation Theatre with empathy and sincerity.

Nurse responsibilities and duties

Provide bedside care

Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)

Prepare and administer injections

Assist surgeons in performing surgeries.

Instrument cleaning, Autoclaving & ETO.

Ensuring proper caliberation of equipments& repair in case of breakdown.

Ensuring filling up of consumable sheet.

Ensuring physical verification of the stock.

Ensuring washing of soiled linen as per HIC policy.

Ensuring segregation of waste in pre-defined color coded bags.

Taking care of pre-operative & post-operative patients.

Giving medication to pre-operative & post-operative patients.

Recording vitals.

Assisting in case of emergencies.
