Key Responsibilities
Resident Care:
• Deliver personalized nursing care based on individual care plans, focusing on physical, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Monitor residents' health, assess vital signs, and report changes promptly.
• Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and mobility, promoting independence.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Medication Administration:
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, and injectable).
• Monitor for and report adverse reactions.
• Maintain medication records and adhere to healthcare standards for storage and handling.
Emergency Response:
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life-saving measures.
• Stay updated on emergency protocols, including CPR and first aid.
Resident & Family Education:
• Educate residents and families on health conditions, treatments, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Provide support to families managing elderly care challenges.
Infection Control & Safety:
• Implement infection prevention protocols and maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, addressing hazards and supporting corrective actions.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing) from an accredited institution.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license as per local/state regulations.
Experience
• 1-8 years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric or senior care facilities.
