:Job PurposeTo support SH HR & ER in ensuring implementation of HR Policies and guidelines by effectively handling employee life cycle activities, employee database, monthly MIS\xe2\x80\x99s, Training and Development activities and managing routine activities within the plant. To support and supervise functioning of colony facilities and providing prompt support to technical team for ensuring continuous plant operations.Job Context & Major ChallengesJob Context: - Aligarh Cement Works, Harduaganj (A unit of UltraTech Cement Limited) is located at Village Kasimpur , Tehsil koil Dt. Aligarh (U. P.). It is a grinding & packing unit with an installed capacity of 1.3 MTPA. This unit was commissioned in May -09 consisting of Close Circuit Ball Mill with High Efficiency Separator, 2X12 spout Packer Machine. It manufactures Ultratech Cement in various Blends. This unit is one of our most modern establishments of Grasim Industries Ltd. The basic raw material i.e. clinker received from Vikram Cement, Khor (M.P.) and Aditya Cement, Shambhupura (Rajasthan).
The main product is flyash based, which is being sourced from Thermal power station Aligarh and cement is supplied to mainly in Eastern UP. The plant has a state of the art technology featuring Expert System of DCS with fully equipped modern laboratory to ensure optimum production and consistent quality product, these are the latest equipment in cement grinding process.Major Challenges: 1. To enhance people skill & multi skilling of employees by arranging trainings. 2. Statutory compliance under all applicable Laws & enactments applicable time to time. 3. People\'s development for improvement of Productivity, Growth & Motivation of employees.Today, unit is acknowledged as one of the most efficient, vibrant, productive, profitable, technologically updated and state-of-the-art unit of Aditya Birla Group\xe2\x80\x99s UltraTech Cement Business.
Major Challenges \xe2\x80\x93
1. Multiskilling employees to take up additional responsibilities and also ensuring continuity of operations in absence of others.
2. Not every employees is system friendly and as such regular hand holding of such employees is required for completion of various module in Poornata like Leaves,training, payroll, Income Tax returns etc.
3. 100 % statutory compliance & sustain the positive IR Index.Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)
KRA1 HR Activities \xe2\x80\x93 Employee Life Cycle Management, Recruitment, PMS, L&D To coordinate preliminary screening of applicants, organizing interviews of shortlisted candidates.
To prepare offers and coordinate with candidates for smooth onboarding
To coordinate and execute for timely completion of Self Evaluation and Manager Evaluation.
Timely Updation of employee data and execution of necessary change in Poornata.
To support Employees in policy related matter and Medclaim.
Coordination with Seamex Team for generation of new Employee ID, New Department & New Position.
Coordination with other WFA administrator of other ABG unit for timely separation & Rehire of employee in Internal Recruitment/ Inter unit transfer Cases.
Identification of Training Need of Employees.
Preparation of Annual Training Calendar for Safety, Behavioural, Functional and Organisational Trainings
Coordinating and Organising Trainings for Employees
KRA2 Salary and Wage administration Preparing perquisites for Electricity and Furniture\xe2\x80\x99s.
Preparation of deduction sheet, arrears, advances for O&S and WB and uploading the same as per payroll calendar.
Cross checking the salary and wages registers and ensuring error free operations.
To share the bank list to UKSC Pune for timely payments.
Preparing of JV\xe2\x80\x99s and submitting the same to UKSC.
To generate JV of Car Operating Expenses on 15th and 30th of every month and sending the same to UKSC for payment.
Supporting employees (O&S and WB) for various payroll activities like deductions, LTA, Income Tax Proofs, Deductions etc.
Providing monthly salary slips and Annual PF Slips to Wage Board employees.
Submission of F&F details to central payroll within 24 hours after receiving no dues.
Timely monitoring of payment of LTA,COE reimbursement, Loan & advances ( PF Loan from Company ) as per Company Policies.
Supporting Wage Board employees for loan applications and uploading the same on PF Trust site.
Submission of form for Superannuation fund to payroll team for timely payment.
Provisions, accounts report preparation and submit in schedule time.
KRA3 Statutory Compliance To initiate timely action to ensure compliance of all Laws & enactment applicable to Department time to time. To calculate & Deduct income Tax in r/o all employees. To calculate & deduct Provident Fund contributions in r/o all employees. To prepare monthly as well as yearly returns undre Income Tax / Provident Fund Act & submit the same well in time. To calculate & work out liability on accunt of Gratuity, Superannuation & Leaves etc. to ensure time compieance. To deposit premium of Group Insurance Schceme under EDLI Scheme in time.
KRA4 Management Information System Ensuring timely submission of monthly MIS Ensuring timely submission of Department Provisions like Flash Cost, Bills, PR etc.
Ensuring timely submission and Updation of Joining/ Exit details to concerned stakeholders
Timely and accurate preparation of Presentations, Reports etc. as required by Management from time to time
To ensure proper records and documents related to various applicable IS Standards.
Supporting and handling various internal and external audits.
KRA5 Focus on SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives Ensuring 100% compliance of all safety standards and all applicable recommendations related to their concerned area.
Educating team about \xe2\x80\x9cI know my job\xe2\x80\x9d, \xe2\x80\x9cI know the hazards associated with my job and I applied control measures\xe2\x80\x9d & \xe2\x80\x9cI escalate to my senior\xe2\x80\x9d among manpower deployed in sections/department manpower including peer, WB & CL manpower
Timely conducting scheduled SO round and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system.
To conduct daily Tool Box Talk as schedule and before start the job any critical job along with SWP
Active participation in safety training, safety sub committees, standard champions meeting and any safety event
Ensure good housekeeping, limited use of power, no leakage of water, oil, air etc and reporting concerned if any abnormalities for corrective action
Adhering of all safety precautions on the site and off the site
Replicating good practice for saving environment for long run sustainability and creating awareness among manpower to save guard natural resources.
KRA6 Training / HR Policies To take all require step that training is imparted to all concerned as per needs identified & Hr Policies are implemented in real spirit. To prepare training calender based on training needs identified. To implement training calender. To collect training feedback reports & to maintain relevant records. To assist HOD for arranging external trainings by procuring details of training programs by different agancies. To monitor & maintain employees competene matrix. To maintain HRD Centre & equipments provided there in good working conditions all the times. To obtain & circulate all circulars information related to Group values / Policies / Vision / Mission etc.
KRA7 General Administration To take all required necessary action in general administration to enhance employees satisfaction. To assist in arranging various funcitions at site suh as Independence Day, Republic Day, Safety Day, New Year Eve etc. to make all necessary arrangement for arranging rural development activities. To make necessary arrangement at the time of VIP visit. To maintain & update all the personal files of employees. To raise indent & procure material for the requirement of department & to maintain the records. To procure & maintin records of Library. To take necessary action for process & records pertaining to annual appraisals.
