The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Atlassian tools to manage large scale instances, especially Jira and Confluence. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive best practices, optimize tool usage, and provide expert guidance and support to teams across the organization.Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary expert for all Atlassian products, with good troubleshooting skills to fix production issues single headedly.
• Lead the configuration, customization, and administration of Atlassian tools to meet the needs of various teams and projects.
• Develop and implement best practices for using Atlassian products and provide technical guidance and support to users.
• Manage integrations between Atlassian tools and other applications, like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Github etc.
• Perform regular system audits and upgrades to ensure the security, stability, and scalability of Atlassian applications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, best practices, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Stay current with new Atlassian product releases, features, and industry trends, and proactively recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8yrs experience in administering and customizing Atlassian tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) and experience with automation within Atlassian products.
• Expertise in AWS Datacenter hosting, cloud infrastructure and best practices.
• Knowledge on Atlassian SaaS migrations from on-prem to Cloud migration.
• Expertise in customizing plugins like Tempo, Structure, Script runner and Xray.
• Experience handling consolidation of multiple Atlassian instance into single deployment and handling conflicts with zero downtime & application availability impact.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels of the organization.
• Certifications in Jira/Confluence administration (e.g. Atlassian Certified Administrator or equivalent) is a plus.
