What you will do:The Digital IT Operations, Infrastructure & Environments Team is responsible for managingour infrastructure & configurations across our data centers/providers. The organization delivers capabilities that enrich the customer experience and provide business value. We seek a motivated, talentedSenior Engineerwith good understanding of infrastructure & application support, DevOps & Automation to help deliver stable, available environments across the Digital IT Org.What you will need :The Digital IT Operations Team thrives on strong relationships with our delivery & development partners and works diligently to address their needs which supports TJX growth and operational stability. On this tightly knit and fast-paced operational delivery team you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think outside the box.You will be working with product teams, 3rd party vendors and operational stakeholders to deliver availability & stability, and automation capabilities. You will be responsible for optimizing & improving our applications & infrastructure and processes. You will advocate for, implement and govern best practices in system design, development, operability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams for brainstorming, research, design, and troubleshooting. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will help to define, craft and execute a long-term vision. In addition, you will be actively coaching and mentoring engineers and developers in the product teams to help identify and resolve issues with technology and product processes.Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain
• 8+ years of strong experience with medium to large bespoke developed software solutions while working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) environment
• Acts in Lead Engineer capacity for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues.
• 10+ years of Designing, testing, deploying & supporting working software /technology components, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers and/or supporting test environments.
• Experienced with Certificate Management
• Experience in Batch scheduling tools and Batch jobs monitoring enablement
• Well versed in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practice adoption for effectively managing the availability and reliability aspects of the Production Systems.
• Proven track record of automating complex manual tasks
• Experience in scripting / PowerShell
• Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to effectively collaborate. Solid team leadership with mentorship skills.
• Deep Understanding of API functionality, experience using postman or similar tools
• Regularly enhance monitoring capabilities of everyday activities of system and provide required support.
• Strong DevSecOps & Engineering Mindset
• This person will always keep security, maintainability, and scalability in mind with the solutions built
• Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals
• Track record of supporting and solving complex technical issues which span applications, networks, and Infrastructure.
• Ensure delivery, and planning of applications maintenance and currency initiatives
• Diagnose log files and prepare thorough analysis of technical issues.
• Experience with Splunk & AppDynamics, or similar APM Tools in troubleshooting.
• Proficient knowledge of Splunk
• Shows a positive, open-minded and can-do attitude
• Create & Update Technical Documentation as required
• Advanced Troubleshooting Capabilities within large enterprise application stacks Network, Infrastructure, Application Server, MS SQL Server. The ability to break problems down systemically.
• Collaborate with database administrators to optimize SQL queries and identify bottlenecks
• 5+ experience in any combination of the following technologies:
• Ansible, or other configuration management tools
• Jenkins
• GIT
• Experience in a retail or e-commerce environment

• Proficiency in scripting languagescan be beneficial.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience on Monitoring tools Splunk/AppDynamics
