What you will do:Enterprise Data & Analytics thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and working diligently to address their needs which support TJX India growth and operational stability. We have modernized our technology stack to focus on the cloud and top tier tools.We are looking for someone who embraces the use of technology to build, manage, and govern data.As a Staff Engineer at TJX India, you will design and develop scalable solutions that involve managing master data, extensible data pipelines to enable modern data integration and data management solutions, focusing on innovation and ensuring data quality within the enterprise / customer data warehouse.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Engineering team in developing, testing, documenting, and supporting scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to understand business requirements and design solutions involving multiple technology platforms.
• Design and build integrations between applications and data platforms.
• Design, implement, and automate the deployment of distributed systems to collect and process streaming events from multiple sources.
• Build new data integrations, including APIs, to accommodate increasing data volume and complexity.
• Establish and enforce data governance processes and guidelines to ensure data availability, usability, consistency, integrity, and security.
• Develop and implement scalable solutions that align with data governance and architectural standards for data integrations, storage, reporting, and analytics.
• Perform analysis to troubleshoot application issues and assist in their resolution.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers on coding best practices and optimization techniques.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence others at all organizational levels to achieve results.
• Partner with key stakeholders and IT leaders at all levels to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, DevOps, CI/CD, API integration, big data, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure).

What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications):

• 5 years of experience with Data Integration platforms like Talend.
• 5+ years of experience leading the Engineering team within the Data and Analytics technical domain.
• 5+ years of programming and scripting experience using Python, PySpark, SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience leading teams of Data engineers and integration engineers.
• More than 5 years of experience working with RDBMS databases, preferably Snowflake.
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud Platforms (Azure, Snowflake).
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, including CI/CD, automation, and DevOps tools (Jenkins, JFrog, GitHub, Control-M).
• 3+ years of experience working with Agile and Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in building solutions using Azure cloud architecture.
• Experience in Information management, Data Modelling and Master Data Management.
• Experience in designing and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems on Azure cloud.
• Ability to learn, understand and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Azure cloud / data streaming space.
• Familiarity with emerging AI technologies
