You can take pride in the fact that you are giving back to society by working on devices that help save lives and keep us healthy. : Lecia MicroSystems is looking for a Senior Software engineer to join the software development team responsible for developing software applications for Digital Microscope imaging for Microsurgery (Neuro) and Ophthalmology. Your Responsibilities: Develop innovative medical software applications as part of an international cross-functional team Define software specifications together with business unit partners and functional management Conclude the software architecture and implementation based on our platform architecture Support the regulatory affairs team in the medical device documentation Innovate unique features and drafting of patents Our Expectations: Bachelors of Engineering or Master in Computer Engineering/Science/Informatics/Mathematics or equivalent 12+ years of experience in software development with excellent programming skills in C++/STL/messaging/socket/SOLID principles, strong understanding of OOPS, Data structures, computational complexity, and design patterns. Experience in Agile software development process and a thorough understanding of software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and build processes & Unit testing. Highly Desirable: Experience working on medical applications or other highly regulated application domains Excellent written, communication, and social skills, with meticulous attention to detail that extends beyond written and verbal communication.
