GE HealthCare is looking for Staff Data & Information Architect who will be a technical lead for our enterprise Ingestion platform. As a technical leader, you will partner with architecture leads and delivery leads to build best-in-class data ingestion solutions focused on automation, continuous delivery, scalability, and reliability. As a hands-on architect, you will enhance the tools and technologies used for ingestion in GEHC and de-risk ingestion platform from compliance and security perspectives. As innovative technical leader, you will assess new technologies, products, tools and build unified ingestion metrics and models. Your contributions will help automate ingestion development, testing and deployment to build foundation of future ingestion platform. As a team player, you will collaborate with program teams in de-risking critical analytics programs by architecting right solutions for their ingestion needs. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world Responsibilities In this role you will, Apply knowledge of architecture, Ingestion development methodologies, best practices, and proven processes to deliver features within planned schedule with excellent quality. Explore, assess, and develop tools & solutions for ingestion with autonomy. Utilize CI/CD Processes to automate development, deployment, and testing. Manage, evolve, and utilize ingestion metadata to build solutions around fault detection and data pipeline observability etc... Drive increased efficiency within the scrum team, ensure adherence to agile methods and the architectural blueprint established for the solution. Act a s a mentor for developers and a gatekeeper for adherence to critical architectural guidelines. Provide input to the technology plan for the organization, ensuring those plans integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure ecosystem. Support, advice, assist, guide, and resolve problems associated with solutions. Develop solutions / POCs with tools such as HVR, Informatica, AWS native services - appflow, S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, DMS, RedShift. Support the engineering leadership in terms of scrum team op mechs (estimation, sprints, backlog creation, Release Planning, and cadence for delivery). Build standard work for ingestion development and operations. Review technical solutions developed by peer architects or development teams. Collaborate with other teams working in the data pipeline for various technical discussions and solutions. Automate production support processes. Design and build technical solutions needed for security, risk and compliance needs of the organization. Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or \'STEM\' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 8+ years of experience 5+ years of experience in Big Data, data warehouse, data analytics projects Hands-on experience in Extract, Transform/Load (ETL/ELT/Replication) tools like Informatica, HVR, AWS Appflow, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark etc Hands-on experience in programming languages like Python, Spark. Hands-on experience in writing SQL scripts for Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL. Exposure with Big Data / Hadoop. Deeper understanding of database architectures for storage and performance. Exposure to unstructured datasets and ability to handle XML, JSON file formats Hands-on experience with AWS services - S3 / Lambda / SNS / SQS / Dynamo DB / RedShift / EMR / RDS/ Event Bridge / CI/CD /Appflow Hands on experience in build CI/CD pipelines for data ingestion systems. Ability to understand logical and physical data models, big data storage architecture, data modelling methodologies, metadata management, master data management & data lineage techniques. Exposure to Agile framework with an ability to collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional teams and focus on essential priority work. Desired Characteristics: Experience in Ingestion tools: HVR, AWS native services - S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, DMS RedShift.
