Job Title: Surface Treatment Technician 3 (ST3) - Scrapping and Grinding

Reports to: Project Manager

Location: Vasco Da Gam

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Surface Treatment Technician 3 (ST3) to perform scrapping and grinding operations on metal surfaces. The ideal candidate will ensure surface quality, efficiency, and safety in our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform surface scrapping and grinding operations using manual and automated tools.

2. Prepare metal surfaces for coating, painting, or welding.

3. Remove rust, scale, and imperfections using grinding and scrapping techniques.

4. Operate equipment such as sanders, grinders, and scrapers.

5. Inspect surfaces for defects and imperfections.

6. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.

7. Collaborate with production team to meet quality and production targets.

8. Follow safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience in surface treatment, grinding, or scrapping.

2. Technical certification or equivalent experience.

3. Knowledge of metal surface preparation techniques.

4. Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.

5. Physical stamina for manual labor.

6. Attention to detail and quality focus.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with automated grinding and scrapping equipment.

2. Certification in surface treatment or related field.

3. Knowledge of quality control processes.

4. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
