: Social Science Teacher (TGT/PGT) - Up to Class 10

Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) / Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Social Science
Grade Level: Classes 6 to 10
Department: Social Science
Location: QEC SCHOOL, USIA, DILDARNAGAR, GHAZIPUR UP
Reports To: Head of the Department / Principal

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher for the role of TGT/PGT to teach students up to Class 10. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in subjects like History, Geography, Civics, and Economics and be committed to delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons that foster critical thinking, curiosity, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons in Social Science, aligned with the school's curriculum and syllabus.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies, including lectures, discussions, multimedia tools, and interactive sessions, to enhance learning.
• Foster an understanding of key Social Science concepts and encourage analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Assess students' progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, assignments, and projects.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Ensure effective classroom management strategies to encourage student participation and engagement.
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding progress, performance, and areas for improvement.
• Co-Curricular & Extracurricular Activities:
• Actively participate in co-curricular activities related to Social Science, such as debates, quizzes, exhibitions, and field trips.
• Encourage students to engage in independent research and academic exploration outside the classroom.
• Professional Development:
• Keep abreast of the latest educational practices, pedagogies, and developments in Social Science.
• Attend training workshops, seminars, and professional development sessions to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members and the school leadership to ensure a holistic educational experience for students.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, classroom behavior, and any concerns.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification:
• TGT: A Bachelor's Degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, etc.) and a B.Ed.
• PGT: A Master's Degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, etc.) and a B.Ed.
• Experience:
• TGT: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a similar role (up to Class 10).
• PGT: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with a proven track record of success in Social Science education.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of the Social Science curriculum for Classes 6 to 10 (CBSE/ICSE or State Board).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning styles.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and technology for teaching purposes.
