Key Responsibilities

:

Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior. Cooperate with other members of the staff in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods. Assess the progress of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required. Present a positive role model for students that support the mission of the school district. preparing course materials and lesson plans and addressing students questions. Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of the resources provided by the district. Use appropriate technologies to strengthen and enhance the teaching and learning process. Consistently monitor student achievement through formative and summative assessments. Strong handle on keeping pace with curriculum, comfortable with creating lesson plans, assessments, projects, and tests. Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by attending staff development training. Support and adapt to change and to demonstrate commitment to continuous performance improvement.
