Job Title: Sr. Lead Engineer Sourcing (74189)Note: The job title may vary, depending upon the years of experience and internal parity.Job MissionBe a part of and support maintaining customer oriented Strategic sourcing team in Nashik Hub that provides PSD with an optimized supplier base in order to support PSD business goals and strategiesBe a part of development of strong global sourcing team Support PSD to supply our customers products with right time with the right cost and qualityJob description

• Responsible for vendor identification, evaluation, qualification, negotiation
• Responsible for achieving Cost reduction through negotiation, Process improvement, alternative material, etc.
• Work with local Operations and Quality to initiate and execute localisation of imported Parts / Products.
• Initiate Cost reduction activities through Kaizen, VAVE and other cost saving Projects
• Carry out all Sourcing Transactions in ERP and ensure System Compliance
• Prepare Reports pertaining to Spend Analysis, Cost Saving and Publish the same periodically as advised
• Work closely with the internal stakeholders to evaluate the potential suppliers and to build the consensus and alignment for the final supplier based on the technical and commercial considerations
• Business contract management, contract template version control, draft the commercial terms of contract, contract review and approval coordination, contract preservation
• Track the delivery with suppliers to meet the business requirements
• Coordinate the goods/service receiving process and relevant inspection and keep the supplier delivery performance records
• Coordinate the supplier assessment
• Identifies and drives continuous improvement with the suppliers
• Setting up business procedures, optimization, training and internal audit, SHEQ supplier audit and periodically customer assessment
• New supplier Performance analysis , Product Costing , import export & localization activities

Experience requirements.

• At least 6-8 years professional purchasing experience gained in a mechanical engineering company

Knowledge

• Bachelor\'s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Excellent systems skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good command of English and PC skills
• Firm Knowledge of executing work in SAP and ERP Environment
• Capability of Studying Engineering Drawings
• Should have Proactive Approach
• Cost Analysis and Market Survey
