Description:Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of plant operators, technicians, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
Plan and prioritize daily tasks, assigning responsibilities to team members based on skill levels and workload.
Monitor plant performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize production efficiency and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Train and mentor new employees, providing guidance on plant procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
Collaborate with management and engineering staff to develop and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role in an industrial setting, preferably in a sponge iron plant or similar heavy industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve production targets and quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Thorough knowledge of plant operations, equipment, and safety regulations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
