The purpose of this document is to describe the Functional Role (FR) of the IN System Engineer within the Managed Services.

What you will do

• Ensuring a smooth operation of the IN Network.
• Be part of team managing specific IN Network activities.
• Administrating IN and Support Systems.
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
• Planned Maintenance (Health Checks, Backups etc\xe2\x80\xa6).
• Problem Escalations and Follow-ups (CSR).
• Performance Analysis & Investigation.

You will bring

The IN System Engineer is responsible for specific system/s by performing the following activities:

• Interface with Customer, 3PP and Ericsson Departments.
• Ensure smooth and quality system/service handover from Project.
• Tariff implementation and testing.
• Outage reporting Adherence to Processes.
• Good Technical Knowledge of the specific IN System/s for Mobile Communication
• Understanding of all Processes, routines & work compliance.
• Knowledge of GSM, INAP, 2g/3g/4g bsics, Diameter, MAP, SCAPv1 etc.
• Knowledge of Linux, Solaris, DBMS.

Key Qualification:

• Degree within / Telecommunication Engineering / Computer Science /Computer Engineering, MCA etc.
• Certification in CCNA, Redhat & Cloud will be an additional advantage.
• Have a 3 to 5 years of experience as a System Engineer in a mobile network environment.
