One of our client a Top Tier 1 Manufacturing Company is looking to hire for a Sr.Electrical Testing Engineer role. Role: Senior Electrical Testing Engineer Location- Mysore Experience - 8-11 years Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree Position type: Permanent Mandate- should have exo into Genset testing. Key Responsibilities: Job Purpose To serve as an experienced, individual contributor on projects and assignments that are complex in nature and that support and enhance Company product performance, durability, reliability, quality and serviceability. Job Duties The primary role of the Sr. Engineer is of an individual contributor and this position will be accountable for testing and validation during new product development and resolution of any field issues. Key areas of responsibility encountered in this role may include any or all of the following: Evaluate new products for technical requirement Develop product test plans and conduct tests to meet product reliability and durability targets Keep up to date on new technologies or develop new technologies; Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers and suppliers related to product performance & problem resolution. Expected to have direct contact with products or components while working in the test facilities or at customer sites. Success factors -Demonstrating excellent analytical skills and a mastery of engineering concepts. Incumbent will have opportunities to work with a diverse cross function team for development of world class engineering solutions for our global products. Sr. Engineers must manage their own development, continuously learning through experience and staying abreast of technology. This position provides a platform for growth and technical skills development. Key skills and Knowledge requirement: Must have thorough knowledge of the working of one of the following- diesel gensets, engines, construction machinery. Hands on experience in testing of electrical or mechanical components. Application of simulation tools & methods, data extraction/analysis, failure analysis and problem solving. Strong analytical skills. Must be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills (Desired) Experience of testing gensets in accordance to ISO8528 and other applicable standards. Required Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree with 8-11 years of relevant experience in complex system testing and validation. Desired Qualifications: Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 6 to 8 years of relevant experience. Travel- Incumbents are required to be at test facilities during product validation and must be willing to travel between 10% of the time.
