-27.2B Euro in revenue (FY2019)TEAM:Global Technology Alliance (GTA) is an order engineering team working in collaboration within Schneider electric manufacturing plants in NAMSenior Application Engineer- Order Engineering TeamThis position is accountable for, but not limited to:\xc2\xb7 This position is responsible for the interpretation of customer specifications, drawings, and power system requirements as they apply to MV/LV Switchgear.\xc2\xb7 Interfaces with field sales, customers, development, manufacturing, order services and materials during order
cycle process.\xc2\xb7 This position includes engineering support for quick resolution of questions and issues regarding MV/LV Switchgear manufacturing assembly and test.\xc2\xb7 Design of control schemes, utilizing PLCs and/or relays, to accomplish automated transfer operations.\xc2\xb7 Creation of electrical one line , elevation drawing ,schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.\xc2\xb7 Design of ground fault protective schemes, including those involving multiple sources.\xc2\xb7 Generation of bills of material, and modification of standard assemblies as required to suit the application.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Modbus and TCP/IP communications protocols, and RS-485 and Ethernet interfaces.\xc2\xb7 Exercises judgments within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.\xc2\xb7 Detailed knowledge of principles of electrical engineering so able to assess feasibility of design options.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate a knowledge of industrial standards, quality and safety requirements.\xc2\xb7 Ensures assignments are within design, budget and schedule limitations.\xc2\xb7 Communicates project concerns and suggestions, both verbally and in writing, with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager.
