Sr. Writer - Branded Content (Health Tech media)
Job Role • Provide scientific guidance and expertise to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and clinical applicability of scientific events & engagements.
• Oversee the review process for Scientific materials, ensuring adherence to evidence-based medicine principles, regulatory guidelines, and accreditation standards.
• Manage the editorial calendar and production schedule for all activities, ensuring timely delivery of educational content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, marketing, and education departments, to align scientific content with organizational goals and objectives.
• Stay abreast of advances in medical science, clinical practice guidelines, and regulatory developments to inform content development and ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Facilitate the accreditation process for CME activities, including documentation, submission, and compliance with accrediting bodies' requirements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of scientific activities through participant feedback, outcomes assessments, and performance metrics.
• Participate in discussions pertaining to business deals. Provide scientific input and conceptualize plans with business teams.
Desired Candidate Details
• Advanced degree in healthcare-related field (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous experience in medical writing, editorial management, or educational content development for healthcare professionals, particularly in the context of Continuing Medical Education (CME)
• In-depth understanding of evidence-based medicine principles, clinical research methodologies, and medical communication standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements for CME activities Proficiency in scientific literature review, data interpretation, and critical appraisal of medical literature.
• Familiarity with content management systems, digital publishing platforms, and multimedia formats for delivering educational content.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining integrity in all aspects of content development and publication.
