So what does a Senior IT Applications Analyst (Workday) do Think of yourself as someone who will understand the end-to-end business process and design medium or large Workday enhancements and/or projects. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will lead the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, design, and configuration of system improvements of the various HR system tools and processes. As a Senior IT Applications Analyst (Workday) , you will: Lead the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, design, and configuration of system improvements of the various HR system tools and processes. Understand the end-to-end business process. Determine the root cause of an issue and propose the needed solution. Design and implement medium to large Workday enhancements and/or projects. Capture, build and test requirements for multiple modules within Workday. Create and maintain project documentation - includes root cause and solution or technical design. Propose solutions to existing and emerging issues based on best practices. Has the sense of ownership/accountability and escalates to management as needed. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies. Do you have what it takes to become a Senior IT Applications Analyst (Workday) Requirements: College graduate, preferably in the fields of IT / Computer Science / Engineering. A minimum of (5) years of IT professional administrative and analytical experience which must have included root cause analysis, risk assessment and recommending solutions. 5-7 years hands on experience with any Enterprise applications like Oracle, Peoplesoft but preferably Workday (HCM / Recruiting / Compensation / Security). Minimum of 5 years hands on experience with any ticketing/tracking tools like ServiceNow / JIRA. Intermediate knowledge with Workday objects like: Business Process, Career Site Branding, Domain Policies, Security, Setup Tasks, Workday Document, Recruiting Hub, Job Application Journey, Reports (calculated field), and/or Basic/Advanced Compensation. Intermediate knowledge and/or practice of SDLC like Waterfall or Scrum methodology. Intermediate knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office or GSuite and MS Project or similar software. Basic project management and organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Excellent verbal, written, communication, interpersonal, presentation skills with proven business analytical skills.
