Monitoring the performance and health of Windows servers, VMware infrastructure, and Azure Cloud resources, and performing routine maintenance tasks to optimize performance and prevent issues.
Maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions to assist in future problem-solving and knowledge sharing.
Providing technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams, including troubleshooting complex issues and advising on best practices for Windows, VMware, and Azure Cloud deployments.
Staying updated on the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in Windows, VMware, and Azure Cloud to enhance skills and improve support services.
#LI-BN1You will be successful in this role if you have:5 to 7 years of relavent experience and below qualifications.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Extensive experience in managing VMware virtualization environments, including VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi, with expertise in virtual machine provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell for automating routine tasks, managing configurations, and deploying resources in Windows and Azure environments.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and firewall configurations, with the ability to troubleshoot network-related issues in Windows and VMware environments.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in Windows, VMware, and Azure environments, including access controls, encryption, vulnerability management, and identity management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and Microsoft Certified: Windows Server certifications would be advantageous and demonstrate expertise in the respective technologies.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences, and collaborate with team members and clients to achieve project objectives.
