Sr. Visual Designer 4-8 years\' experience (not counting internships) As part of Qualys Product Design team, Sr. Visual Designers should have a deep understanding of visual design principles, typography, iconography, color, space etc. for enterprise level end users, technology and business goals. He/She should have strong problem-solving skills through visual experience design & communication design. An out-of-box thinker who can steadily push the envelope with latest industry trends. He/She should be able to design interfaces and workflows to enhance overall product experience. Strong foundation in design systems, UI specs & working with UI engineering teams. You will provide solid visual experience expertise across multiple product lines and cross functional teams, while maintaining uniformity in the product suite. Your innovative yet pragmatic visual solutions will drive customer delight & satisfaction across the Qualys product suite. Your Portfolio 3-4 projects highlighting Visual Design/UI work for multi-channel tech/B2B/Enterprise. Should illustrate a fluent understanding of design fundamentals (color theory, typography, space, form, rhythm, composition, brand guidelines, etc.) Your Experience Showcase strong data visualization visual experience design Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT or design studio. Note: Internship will not be considered as work experience Your Education Bachelor\'s or Master\'s in Graphic Design, Interface Design/Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or Marketing or a related field from a reputed institute. Portfolio demonstrating Cyber Security Enterprise product design is an added advantage As a Sr. Visual Designer with Qualys Inc., you are responsible for Having a strong foundation of visual design principles and the science of visual communication. Execute and drive visual experiences for multiple projects, collaborating closely with Product Designers (UXUI), Product Managers, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional visual experience solutions. Clearly convey & articulate visual experience and information hierarchy. Attention to detail is a must and ensuring pixel-perfect designs, while maintaining the highest levels of quality throughout the design process. Strive for consistency across the platform. Create the \'single source of truth\' - design systems, guides and specifications for implementation and reference. Use the Qualys Design System of established standards, style guides, and specification documents. Contribute & enhance the design system. Prototyping pixel perfect mock-ups using Figma. Data visualization through graph widgets, grid systems and micro-interactions should be strong. Coordinate effectively with technology teams to translate designs into functional reality, ensuring seamless communication and successful implementation. Manage communication at all levels, take responsibility for project deliverables, ensuring quality, and meeting deadlines. Work closely with the Engineering teams to ensure implementation support for UI aspects of the delivery to be in-line with approved visual strategy. Added Advantage: Cyber Security Enterprise Software Domain Knowledge As a Sr. Visual Designer with Qualys Inc., you must, Have passion to solve complex problems and present it as a simple and elegant visual experience in the product. In-depth knowledge of typography, iconography, color, space etc. to create a compelling visual experience. Deep expertise in visual pattern libraries, data visualization & charting libraries. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of user centered design process. Possess a strong sense of innovation & aesthetics. Show & maintain a commitment to high-quality design standards. Stay on top of the latest visual design standards, changes, trends in visual design field. Demonstrate strong rationale, articulation & presentation skills. Demonstrate flexibility to work in an iterative design process culture, across geographies. Welcome feedback as part of learning process. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships. Be highly self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage workload; and meet critical deadlines.
