Tasks &
Responsibilities
- Support daily users of the TMS/OTM application to analyze and root cause planning failed orders
- Provide user feedback on failures and user training to eliminate future failures
- You are the functional point of contact for shippers and transportation providers for resolution of order and shipment failures
- You assist in developing customer presentations for identified savings initiatives
- You monitor end-to-end processes: Orders, Order Release, Shipment creation, optimization, Carrier Tender, and Delivery
\xc2\xa7 You conduct team calls with shipping parties and transportation providers to facilitate compliance and continuous improvement
- Maintain and manage dynamic Action Tracker to manage open action items across diverse, cross-functional Team
- You are responsible for loading carrier rate packages in TMS/OTM application.
- You maintain an extensive amount of carrier rates and customer profiles and other pertinent data in the Oracle TMS system
- You maintain logs and compile information on locations, routes, rates, and services on various vendors. You configure rate related objects using csv upload in OTM application
- Maintain multiple database tables, Master Data, Locations Tables and Carrier Routings tables/itineraries within the software
- You assist and aid shipping sites on questions regarding Oracle TMS functional process
- You assist with On-Boarding and Training of new Users and Shippers.
- Work with client IT organization for B2B integration monitoring and troubleshoot order failures. Debugging/troubleshooting critical configuration issues e.g. Planning problems, commitment allocation, lane rate mismatch and itinerary issues
\xc2\xa7 You interpret business requirements to make recommendations for configuration updates to optimize efficiency
- You participate in testing to ensure that requirements are implements, designed and working according to the vision
\xc2\xa7 Develop and write Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) testing, validation procedures, and documentation
- Analyze feasibility and impact of various Change Requests (CRs) on existing configurations and implementation
- Prepare Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for any critical /repetitive business issues/concerns reported by the client so as to provide a permanent resolution to such issues
- Configure and demonstrate key end to end business scenarios in Oracle Transportation Management application
\xc2\xa7 Work with Oracle Support, Information Technology team/user base to identify and resolve bugs/issues, and provide application testing support
- You provide general assistance with other transportation-related issues.
- Act independently while researching and developing solutions to customer issues.
\xc2\xa7 Work with Oracle Transportation Management application user community to perform User Acceptance testing (UAT) for functional usage and customer friendly experience
Skills Required
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technical, Computer Science, or Supply Chain disciplines, and 4-7 years of OTM experience.
- Preferably a Certified Oracle Transportation Management Implementation Specialist
- Oracle Global Trade Management knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL) to create reports from database tables
- Skilled at using Microsoft Office Suite \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel, Powerpoint applications
- Multi-tasking ability to work on different programs and plans at the same time
- Proven capability to develop and maintain analytical skills
- Good client facing, excellent communication, presentation and design documentation skills
- Strong English skills essential (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently, and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to work under pressure, and time constraints
