The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both development and operations, with a passion for automation and cloud technologies and will be instrumental in driving the automation of our deployment processes and ensuring the high availability of our services. He/She will also ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and security of our applications and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our development and deployment processes.Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implement and manage configuration management tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment; Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, or similar) for automating repetitive tasks and improving operational efficiency.
• Develop zero-touch deployment strategies to streamline the release process and enhance our deployment efficiency.
• Demonstrate strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshoot system issues.
• Drive automation initiatives across the organization.
• Leverage Azure cloud computing technologies to optimize scalability and performance and work with Azure services and fundamentals (Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, Azure CLI).
• Implement security practices, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Set up continuous monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and applications.
• Manage logs and implement centralized logging solutions.
• Utilize source code management tools (e.g., Git) and version control best practices.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Knowledge of build tools likeMaven/Gradle/Ant.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in Azure cloud computing platforms and in Linux system administration.
• Strong coding and scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Proven experience with GitHub Actions for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security practices and tools (SAST, DAST).
• Proven ability to set up comprehensive monitoring systems.
• Strong understanding of version control systems (Git).
