What's the role?:As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will design and maintain cloud, Windows, Linux, and other infrastructures. You will offer technical consulting for cloud-based systems and associated operational issues. Responsibilities also include image creation/management, access/identity management, and ensuring that the HERE presence in the cloud is secure, compliant, and efficient. This role requires proficiency related to knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), best practices, automation, and optimization. You will help create, deploy, and maintain golden images for use by all HERE developers to ensure that systems are up-to-date and comply with security standards and best practices. Additionally, you will develop and manage access controls following a least-privileged security mindset. Our team works via an Agile methodology, and we focus on implementing solutions via automation to ensure 100% compliance whenever possible. This role requires you to navigate technology concepts fluently.You should be comfortable with adopting new 3rd party tooling (or providing feedback on alternative solutions including recommending in-house development). You can expect to participate in proof-of-concept activities, presenting complex topics to varied audiences (from executives to engineers to finance analysts), and thinking creatively about continuous improvement opportunities.Responsibilities for Role:

• Design, create, and maintain AWS images for both Linux and Windows environments.
• Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, including LDAP integration, and develop and enforce identity and access management (IAM) policies.
• Administer and manage Linux servers, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.
• Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, including user account creation and group policy management.
• Triage and respond to support requests related to cloud infrastructure and systems.
• Review and evaluate current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Who are you?:Requirements:

• Proven scripting experience xe2x80x93 Bash and PowerShell required; Python experience also preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
• Strong Linux Admin experience xe2x80x93 Base image creation, kernel patching, etc.
• Windows Active Directory Administrator is required.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible or similar.
• Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a scalable and production-critical environment, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Comfortable working as part of a global team.
