As an IT Systems Developer you will design, develop and analyze information systems supporting a laboratory environment. Summarized Purpose: Provides systems analysis, design, development, testing and support on highly complex technical information system components. Essential Functions: Works with business groups to analyze, define and address requests on business requirements for applications and interfaces. Develops cost and resource estimates for project. Designs and develops components and services according to specifications within a team environment. Prepares detailed system documentation including requirements, specifications, test plans and user manuals. Provides recommendations on database design. Provides technical leadership for project team during implementation. Performs unit and system test and as needed, validation testing Coordinates with Operations staff on deployment of application and with IT Service Desk in providing ongoing application support. Provides guidance to junior staff in executing systems development responsibilities. Education and Experience:BE, B Tech, ME, M Tech, BCA/MCA and B Sc/M Sc with 2 - 5 years of experience in IT industry.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:. Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.. Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail.. Strong logic, analysis, and problem-solving skills.. Work with minimal assistance and take ownership of given task.. Good team player and have positive attitude.
