In addition, the candidate should possess strong managerial skills to lead and mentor the IT team members.Job Summary:As a Senior System Administrator at Furious Computer Solutions Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique requirements and implement solutions to meet their business needs. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including server management, virtualization, backup solutions, NAS and SAN administration, unified communications systems, Active Directory management, overseeing various operating systems for servers, and leading and mentoring the IT team.Key Responsibilities:1. Server Management:Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, ensuring optimal performance.Monitor server hardware and software for faults, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime.Perform routine server updates, patches, and security enhancements.2. VMware Administration:Manage VMware virtualization environments, including ESXi and vSphere.Deploy and configure virtual machines (VMs) and ensure resource allocation meets performance requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization issues to ensure system reliability.3. Backup Software:Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, such as Veeam, Commvault, or similar.Develop and maintain backup strategies and schedules.Monitor backup jobs and perform data recovery when necessary.4. NAS and SAN Management:Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions.Optimize storage systems for capacity, performance, and redundancy.Implement data access controls and security policies.5. Unified Communications:Administer unified communication systems, including VoIP, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.Troubleshoot and resolve communication system issues.Ensure quality of service for voice and video communication.6. Active Directory Management:Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory structures, including domains, trusts, group policies, and user accounts.Ensure secure access control and user authentication.Troubleshoot Active Directory issues and perform regular audits.7. Operating Systems for Servers:Manage and maintain various server operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux.Apply security patches, updates, and configure server roles and features.Optimize server performance and resource utilization.8. Team Leadership and Management:Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to the IT team members.Assign tasks and projects, and ensure team members meet their goals and objectives.Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the IT team.9. Security and Compliance:Enforce security best practices and policies to protect the IT infrastructure.Stay updated on security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate countermeasures.Assist in compliance audits and documentation.10. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.Generate regular reports on system performance, availability, and security.11. Technical Support and Training:Provide technical support and guidance to junior administrators and end-users.Conduct training sessions for end-users on system usage and best practices.Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in system administration, with a focus on servers, VMware, backup software, NAS, SAN, unified communications, Active Directory, and server operating systems.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
• Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar, are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and managerial skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
